1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of Oceanpules Courier JA, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. By shipping with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

Continued use of our services indicates ongoing agreement.

Oceanpules Courier JA operates strictly as a pickup service. No delivery service is offered at this time.

3. Scope of Services

Oceanpules Courier JA provides international shipping and package handling services, including:

  • Air freight shipping

  • Package receiving and handling

  • Assisted online shopping services ("No card? No problem" service)

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.

4. Shipping Pricing Structure

Our pricing is calculated as follows:

  • $600 JMD for the first pound

  • Each additional pound: $600 JMD

  • Example: 2 lbs = $1,150 JMD

  • After 10 lbs, a flat rate of $500 JMD is added per package

Weight Rounding Policy:

Weights at 0.5 lbs and above are rounded up to the next full pound.

All weights are determined by our scale at the warehouse.

5. Assisted Shopping Service (No Card? No Problem)

Customers without access to online payment methods may use our assisted shopping service.

  • Service fee: $1,200 JMD per transaction

  • Full payment for items and service fee must be made in advance

  • Once an item is purchased, payments are non-refundable

Oceanpules Courier JA is not responsible for vendor errors, delays, incorrect items, sizing issues, or cancellations. All disputes remain between the customer and the vendor.

6. Rewards & Loyalty Program

Earn & Save Program

  • Earn 1 point for every $1,000 JMD spent

  • When 100 points are accumulated, the customer receives $1,000 JMD off their next package pickup

Points are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Oceanpules Reward Club – Platinum Tier

Customers who complete 20 or more shipments qualify for:

  • 5% discount on future shipments

  • Priority shipping on all packages after qualification

Oceanpules Courier JA reserves the right to modify or terminate the rewards program at any time.

7. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

Oceanpules Courier JA assumes limited liability for loss, damage, or delays. Responsibility begins when a package is received and scanned into our system and ends when the package is collected by the customer.

We are not responsible for:

  • Vendor errors

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by customers

  • Packages lost before arrival at our warehouse

  • Delays caused by customs or third-party carriers

8. Packaging & Fragile Items

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging by vendors.

Fragile items including electronics, glass, liquids, cosmetics, and breakable goods are shipped strictly at the owner’s risk.

9. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must comply with all local and international laws. Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Perishable foods

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited items may be confiscated or surrendered to authorities without refund.

10. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and government fees where applicable.

Oceanpules Courier JA is not liable for customs delays, inspections, penalties, or seizures.

11. Payments

Payments must be made in full before package pickup.

All shipping and service fees are non-refundable once processing has begun.

12. Claims & Complaints

Any claims must be submitted within 48 hours of package pickup.

Supporting documentation may be required.

WhatsApp messages alone do not constitute an official claim unless confirmed by management.

13. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages must be collected promptly upon notification.

Packages not collected within 7 days may incur storage fees.

Packages uncollected after 30 days may be sold, donated, or disposed of to recover outstanding charges.

14. Amendments

Oceanpules Courier JA reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the full agreement between Oceanpules Courier JA and its customers.
